Ballsy Cancer Society is a universal hub of resources aimed at educating young men and women on the signs, detection and treatment of testicular cancer. The society works as a national, community-based charitable organization managed primarily by volunteers whose mission and purpose in life is to eradicate testicular cancer in men and improve the lives of those living with the disease. Ballsy Cancer Society operates as a support network for those who want to share their story and for those who seek to inspire and motivate others to join the ‘ballsy’ fight.

The objective and mission of Ballsy Cancer Society is to reach out and share the story of Thomas Cantley, as well as the stories of other testicular cancer survivors across the world, in every high school, college and university in each community spanning North America. The society currently has a home base in Nova Scotia, Canada as well as Texas, US. With men most commonly affected between the ages of 15-35yrs, Ballsy is directing focus and energy specifically on army, navy and air force bases. On top of these objectives, Ballsy commits to circulate and produce information comprehensible for men and women of all ages, as well as breakthrough the conversation barrier surrounding testicles and ‘balls’. Through numerous local, national and international events, such as the ballsy journey documentary – being filmed and produced in the summer of 2011; educational presentations at high schools and universities; and organizing local musical festivals – the organization will evolve into a universal network resulting in fewer lives lost to testicular cancer.
